After the Diablo IV campaign the live loop is The Pit, Helltides, World Bosses, Nightmare Dungeons, Infernal Hordes, Lair Bosses, War Plans, the Undercity, Echoing Hatred, the Dark Citadel, and the Tree of Whispers. The Pit is the named pinnacle dungeon on Steam's endgame copy and the activity Mephisto's Splinter of Hatred modifies alongside Nightmare Dungeons. Sort the table by type to group open-world invasions, pinnacle dungeons, and expansion-gated directors. Steam names The Pit on the endgame list; Season 15 then hangs Prime Evil splinters on that row, on Helltides, and on Lair Bosses. Use the sort buttons when the table is longer than one screen.
The Pit and keyed dungeons
The Pit is the pinnacle dungeon on the Steam endgame list. Mephisto's Splinter of Hatred modifies The Pit and Nightmare Dungeons, so a Hatred socket is the seasonal choice if those two loops are your week. Nightmare Dungeons remain the keyed dungeon layer; seasonal objectives can require an expansion even when the keys drop on the base game.
Lair Bosses sit on the boss ladder. Steam still says Uber Bosses; Season 15 notes Lair Bosses and Echo of Mephisto loot. If you are climbing that ladder, Baal's Splinter of Destruction is the Prime Evil that also modifies the Undercity. Keep one Prime Evil splinter equipped at a time. If The Pit is the session, socket Mephisto's Splinter of Hatred before you start the ladder. Nightmare Dungeons share that splinter. Lair Bosses do not; they share Baal's Splinter of Destruction with the Undercity instead. Nightmare keys can still drop on the base game even when a seasonal objective wants an expansion.
Helltides, World Bosses, and Hordes
Helltides are the rotating extreme-peril open-world zone. Diablo's Splinter of Terror modifies Helltide and Infernal Hordes and deals Fire. World Bosses are the larger-than-life open-world bosses Steam lists beside Helltides. Infernal Hordes are the horde activity on the same Terror track.
Tree of Whispers is the bounty board all three Prime Evil splinters modify. Use it as the filler between keyed runs. Overworld Waking Nightmares from Season of Hell's Legacy also pop in the open world, including Queen Araneae and Flayers, so a Helltide route can pick up anniversary memories without a separate teleport plan. Diablo's Splinter of Terror is the Helltide and Infernal Hordes socket. World Bosses stay on the open-world board without their own Prime Evil tag in the season notes. Tree of Whispers still takes all three Prime Evil splinters as modifiers. Overworld Waking Nightmares can interrupt a Helltide route without a separate teleport.
Expansion-gated loops
War Plans are the Lord of Hatred endgame director. Season 15 reputation tracks and modifiers hang off that board, which is why about 15 percent of the season rank, including Rank VIII, wants Lord of Hatred. Echoing Hatred is the unending demonic horde test on the same SKU. The Undercity is the activity Baal's splinter modifies.
Dark Citadel is the Vessel of Hatred co-op dungeon with Party Finder. It is the group content you cannot substitute with a Helltide. If your party only owns the base game, stay on The Pit, Helltides, World Bosses, and Whisper bounties. Add Vessel of Hatred for the Citadel, then Lord of Hatred for War Plans and Echoing Hatred. War Plans need Lord of Hatred. Echoing Hatred needs Lord of Hatred. Dark Citadel needs Vessel of Hatred or a Lord of Hatred receipt that already includes it. Base-game groups should not queue those three rows.
Sorting the live board
The stamped Type header sorts open-world invasions, pinnacle dungeons, horde tests, and expansion directors. Sort by Name when you are hunting a single row such as The Pit. Eleven named activities are on this ledger. That is the live list from Steam endgame copy plus Season 15 and expansion store pages, not a drop-table planner.
Season of Hell's Legacy overlays splinter modifiers on several of these rows without renaming them. Helltides stay Helltides when Terror is socketed; they just take Fire and the Diablo vulnerability. The Pit stays The Pit when Hatred is socketed. Read Soul Splinters for the socket rules, then come back here to pick the loop. Type sort groups pinnacle dungeon, open-world invasion, boss ladder, key dungeon, horde activity, endgame director, co-op dungeon, and bounty board. Name sort jumps straight to The Pit when that is the search you brought to the page.
How the eleven activities relate
The Pit relates to Nightmare Dungeons through Mephisto's splinter. Helltides relate to World Bosses as the open-world pair Steam lists together, and to Infernal Hordes through Diablo's splinter. Lair Bosses relate to The Pit as the boss-ladder climb and to the Undercity through Baal's splinter. War Plans relate to Echoing Hatred and the Undercity as Lord of Hatred directors. Dark Citadel relates to Echoing Hatred and The Pit as the Vessel of Hatred co-op dungeon. If you only own the base game, the practical week is The Pit, Helltides, World Bosses, Whisper bounties, and whatever Nightmare Dungeons are not expansion-gated this season.
Tree of Whispers sits under all three Prime Evil splinters, so it is the bounty board you can run no matter which Prime Evil you socket. Seasonal Nightmare Dungeon objectives may still require an expansion even when the keys drop on the base game. Echo of Mephisto loot is the Season 15 note on the Lair Boss row; Steam still says Uber Bosses for the same ladder.
Sort by Type when you want open-world rows together. Sort by Name when you are jumping to The Pit or War Plans. Eleven rows is the named live set from Steam, Season 15 notes, and the expansion stores. Blizzard does not publish pit-tier numerals or unique-item drop tables on those pages.
